The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Peru informed that, due to the serious political and humanitarian crisis that Venezuela is experiencing, and with the intention of having an orderly, regular and safe migration of its nationals, new immigration regulations have been established in our country.
In that sense, the Peruvian immigration control authorities will only admit entry into the Peruvian territory of Venezuelan nationals who have a valid passport and visa. This measure will become effective as of Saturday, June 15 of this year from 00:00 hours.
Venezuelan nationals who intend to enter Peru with the "Humanitarian Visa" will be able to process it at the General Consulates of Peru in Caracas and Puerto Ordaz, in Venezuela; as well as, exceptionally, in Bogotá, Medellín and Leticia, in Colombia; and in Cuenca, Guayaquil, Quito, Machala and Loja, in Ecuador.
Finally, Venezuelan nationals may apply for a Tourist, Business or a differente immigration status other than Humanitarian visas before any Peruvian Consulate abroad.
